This is the first time for me, thought it would be kind of neat to have a blog. So, here goes.
My garden is starting to look like an overgrown jungle between the cucumber plants, zuccini plants, and the massive amount of cantelope plants. I am sure all the honey bee's have love me this year with all those blossoms. I am dissappointed in my tomato plants this year. I think the extreme heat and lack of watering did a number on them. I really don't think I will be canning any tomatoes this year (which totally breaks my heart) I so love to have home canned vegetables and fruits. I am going to try to do some different things this year instead of just the basics. I have already put up about 12 quarts of dill pickles, will be working on some bread and butter pickles later today. Once I figure out how to use the upload feature on my new phone I will add some pictures. (of the garden and all my pickles so far.)
MY GARDEN SUCKED THIS YEAR. I WAS GONNA DO THE SAME, PUT UP SOME TOMATOES, BUT I THINK IVE WAITING TOO LONG!
ReplyDeleteI HAD SOME CANTALOPES COME UP THOUGHT FROM FOOD GARBAGE I DUMPED ON MY GARDEN SPOT. THEY ARE TINY RIGHT NOW AND THE COLD MIGHT GET THEM BUT IM HOPING NOT BEFORE I AT LEAST GET ONE.
